Up too early! sooo HAir update

ok so it is 6:12 and i am up !! why in the world am i up so early ! I guess cause i went to bed at like 11:30?? anyway I am starting(or already started ) a healthy hair journey since I decided I DO want to get relaxers I decided that I should just try to grow the hair I have long and healthy!
I bought some coconut oil and I am going to moisterize and seal everynight and try to wear my hair in protective styles and not use soo much heat!
I will update how I am doing on here since I got my new camera lol

Omg these last couple of weeks have been interesting!!
Ok so i have 3 finals left on mon tues and Wednesday .. Then I am freeeee!!!!!! Sooo I have been studying like crazy so I can make high grades on those test! They will " make or break" my semester grade. Another random decision is my decision to go natural my last perm was thanksgiving so I thought why don't I just start my new years resolution early!!!!! I am sooooo excite I just don't know how my family is gonna take it...... My parents are very old fashioned when it comes to hair and apperance and " levels of class" and I can hear my parents now talkin bout why u wanna do tht??!! When u gettin a perm???!!!
Anyway I am so glad I have my blogger fam to update with my journey!!
Another random exciting thing In my life is that I think I posted about my crazy relationship this summer?? That lasted like 2 months anyway during thanksgiving break I started talking to my ex again ... We dated my summer before my senior year if high school and j broke up with him ( I really don't know why but I was young and stupid!!!!) anyway we have been just friends for awhile now but this year we recently woukd just text every once in awhile soooo idk where this is going but he has always been a nice guy!!! But I will keep yall posted :- / anyway let me get back to these books.............. o fell free to comment I looove reading them !!

OK so i was trying a no heat challenge just to see how much my hair would stengthen ? I think with my normal flatiron once a week my hair was breaking kinda?? and my edges were thinning ?? SO last week I got my hair done and she used small rollers to get a spiral curl look and At first it was really tight but once it loosened up i LOVED it! I got sooo many compliments on my hair and I was soo pleased that they last from Friday till Thursday when i combed them out!
And that was with me working out every day.
here is a picture i took Tuesday once they loosened up

so i got them again and i will see how they workout this week, cause i am still relaxed it just has been 6 weeks since my last perm so I will probably get a relaxer when i go home next week for thanksgiving!!

ok so i have come to realize that I can achieve the perfect hourglass figure with exercise and diet and it will take a lot of work but i can do it!!!!! I think by January I can have my goal weight of 120-125 if I keep at the regimen I am doing now!( I am 133 right now) but anyway my body is most like Kim Kardashian (minus the booty) I have the chest and waist and I didn't really like her at first but I love her style!1 IDK whoever styles her but they do a great job on fitting her with clothes that are tailored for her height and shape ..... I love this white dress!!

ok so my friend chelsea and I havent hung out in awhile outside of class so we figured why not party homecoming weekend!!!

friday night was the fashion show that my friend leah was in and she did FABULOUS!! even though she is the same height as me (5'2-5'3) she knew how to work the runway well!and then was the afterparty which was a hott mess!! There was only like 30 ppl there and the way they hyped it i thouhgt there was gonna be lots of people o well i still had fun!

then saturday was the tailgating and the game whcih we lost (no surprise we are 0 -6 ) , and then we just chilled and watched movies because we were sooo tired afferwards but it was still fun! I am soo glad i found a friend that I can be cool with and be myself around.

sunday was church and I finally joined so now i am officially a member!

And then I went a AMAZING Phoam PArty that our ALphas had and of course that hairstyle was gone .... even though I didnt hit the bed unitl 4 I still had to get up and go to church by 10 ( EVERY SUNDAY!! Ok so i am still studyin for this test i started at 8 o clock and after i get done with this i will probably be up for a couple more hours studyin........ ok so real talk i kinda took a nap i think from 11:30 to 12 so that is probably why i am able to write this blog.

ok so i always get excited when i do my co wash day . So today I was feeling something different so I co washed with Suave Naturals tropical coconut and let it air dry while i went to orchestra and when i got back I put the V05 passionfruit smoothie conditioner in for my leave in conditioner in while i took my shower and when i got done my hair was moisturized ans soft! so I am now either gonna do a braid out or a 2 strand twist bantu knot? idk which one I think a braid out just to see how it will look? i did the braid out on :

ok so my school northwestern State had our first home game on Saturday and everyone was pumped!! Too bad we lost 23 to 25 :( anyway of course we had like after parties to celebrate our first home game but I wasnt really in the party mood ....so i didn't go?
so i just stayed home and watched tv and movies which was what i just needed .... to relax!!
and today I went to church when i thought i was just gonna stay in bed? ummm that was obviously not my God's plan for me because i could not go back to sleep so i got up and went on to church and I AM SOOOO Glad that i did because the message was definitely for me!
....... o yea my poor hair i got my hair flat ironed and washed on Friday afternoon and made the mistake of going to a house party where there was like 100 people packed in one little apartment AKA my hair was a frizzy mess but luckily i will be working out every morning so it doesnt matter what my hair looks like this week!!

Ok so i did my bantu knot out again on wet conditioned hair and i love it!!!!!!!!!!!I co washed my hair for the first time and I used VO5 Moisture milk Conditioner in Passionfruit smotthie and my relaxed hair was untangled and smooth , then while slighty wet i put aloe vera gel and shea butter cream on each section and twisted and knoted about 10 sections and when i woke up this morning some were still a little wet but they dried quickly !

i love it but I dont really want to redo it tonight? but i might have to do the front to keep those pieces cute.....here are some pics!! up above my post lol

i ended up doing the front pieces and but the back i left it and put my bonnet on.

first randomness--------> ok so i am sitting in my room trying to figure out what is wrong with me!!!
I went to the beauty shop and it starting raining...of course. And they i got some subway and came back to the room to rest and eat in peace ...then suddenly a bump pops up on my lip? like i fell or bumped into somethin and then i just lay down for my nap and i wake up and my left eye is kinda swollen too!!!! i dont know hopefully it will go down by tomm cause it i was supposed to go to some parties in Monroe(2 hours away) but I dont feel like driving in the rain. lol so that is a no

on another tip: stupid foolishness (side note i HATE drama so any type of foolishness i tend to ignore) ok so yesterday I received information that my "friends and i use that term lightly and I were"into it"? my thing is i am soooooo not a dramatic person that i was like HOW in the World did I not know about this "fight" i am in!!! The only thing i can think of is that i havent really talked or seen them in like 2 days?? or maybe i offended them in some way but idk I am sooo over the foolishness and I need to concentrate on making new friend and making loyal connections with them!!

Thursday morning !: Natural hair comments

ok so it is almost the weekend and I am sooo pumped!!! We play our "rival" team on Saturday so I am excited to go and watch our team win!! I will post more pics sunday when i get back.
OMG I just wanted to tell yall about my research : So i have been researching natural hair blogs and sites trying to decide whether I want go natural or not? I still think I have to convince myself a little bit more .... but we will see!! Anyway I was looking at a wonderful blog called theFiestyhouse and I am admit I am hooked! I love how they had fashion and hair together in one venue and posted tons of pics on almost every style they talked about. I sent an email and they were also sooo prompt on responding me back and so encouraging . One of my good friends is also natural and I just love the way curls look and the confidence it takes to wear your hair all natural!!

ok so I am going to post my fitness exercises and how long i do them for the days i work out starting today!
Tuesday: September 8,2009 : Elipitical trainer :30mins, Treadmill for 20 mins(Walk/Run)
8 minute abs workout(Youtube)
Breakfast : grape juice, apple and 2biscuits(all I had to eat in my freezer :(
A.M.Snack: granola bar
Lunch : grilled chicken wrap
Snack: granola bar
Dinner : my mom's 10 bean soup(yummy.... idk how many calories)
Snack: proabably a granola bar??

My Hair: style 1 bantu knots

so so I had been looking on youtube for picture of new hairstyles because I work out a lot and my normal flat ironed hair becomes a mess!! And I found a style called bantu knots when I first tried them a few months ago a made the mistake of not using any cream or oil to help hold the knots and I braided each sections before......... the end result was a HOT MESS!!!
SO this time I just b=put a little shea butter then twisted it and got a wonderful result !!!! i did nine knots and realized the next time i will do smaller sections to get more curls!!! but I love it and here is a cute pic of the back and front!

I am super excited because i have 4 days until i move back to school!!

I havent gotten anything at all yet but i really dont need that much stuff so it should be ok lol I am goin g to update more often with my fitness, healthy eating and fashion posts , because i am on a new journey to get in better shape and become more fashion conscience ? (idk if that makes sense lol) RAndom thoughts : I am watching Kourtney and Khole take miami and I absolutely love it!!!! THey are Hilarious! On another note i will try to work out 4 times a week so that means my precious hair will be a mess!! If anyone has any tips on how to preserve my flat ironed relaxed hair comments are greatly appreciated!!!! I love to workout just my hair is my ONLY PROBLEM!!

so i had the best weekend ever! My (now) boyfriend surprised me on saturday by driving from at 6:30 in the morning to come eat lunch with me and hang out! the surprise was i though t i was going to eat lunch with his mom and he walked in instead. It was soooo sweet but he leaves today which kind of sucks but o well at least this weekend was a wonderful one!!!!

Hey guys so i haven't been updating alot i have been so busy with school , work and tryna find time to enjoy my summer! Anyway a lil update on my life: last week was probably one of the best weeks that i have had this summer! My "friend " came home for the week and it was so fun even though he left Sunday
I really actually like him! Not based on looks but straight personality ,it finally clicked with me how blessed i am to be talking to such an amazing guy! Even though i am not so down with the whole long distance thing i would give it a try with this guy! Like even though i hope it is not just a summer friendship i feel like i could actually be in a relationship with him .......
I am SOO not an advocate for relationships 2 separate college but i wouldn't mind tryna it cause i know i genuinely like this boy!
so i half the update about my relationship life now i am at home and i am doin the other half of hair and makeup likes and dislikes:

ok so i wear makeup i just a very Conservative with it? example : in this picture i have foundation , powder eyeliner a lil eyeshadow and mascara on this picture ( sorry i couldn't find a pic that was super close up) :

and since i am offically 20 i wanted to change my look up and try new eyeshadows BUT i still want to look natural and fresh.

If anyone has any sugggestions on products that arent too expensive that would be amazing!!!!!!!!!

Its my birthday!!!!! Finally i am 20 and the day is going well! Ok so this update i am bloggin from work ..... Well right now it is horrible cause i am workin at my dads office and i am tired , hungry and when i walked in the door i was ready to go! I dont mean to sound grouchy but i really dont like workin here , even though now i work on my off days it is still like i dont have off days anymore and my summer is complete work and school !! But now the more i looked at it i am getting class out of the way, getting a lil extra money by working at the office and what would i be doin if i wasnt working here absolutely nothing!! So that is my lil ramble ..... Anyway i have to be mini mom for the next 2 days and pick up and drop off my lil bro from football camp which isnt a oroblem cause i pass by the school everyday to go to work. wow it feels like i havent been on here in forever! anyway so my weightloss challenge has taken a detour for these last couple of days and so tommorrow i am gonna start once again NO EXCUSES!!!! anyway i am getting excited cause my birthday is in 11 DAYS! i will be 20 so i feel like it is time for some changes : my whole attitude, body, and just my outlook on friends and life in general.

Here i am again beauty shop blogging! Lol but i recently started thinking of my goals for summer 09 which my dad helped bring to my attention! All the goals i set r ones that i can obtain i just have to reach a little and work at it. Ok so here is the list: make all A's in my summer school courses,Lose 15 -20 pounds by July 4 (which means i have 30 days to do this and it is gonna be a challenge that i need to achieve! Practice violin everyday and figure out my back up plan for school i know i like working with children ? So maybe teaching is my back up major?
Idk though anyway those r my thoughts for this week! I will update later about my new job and school

And i realized most of the time it is me that ends the situation or we both just kinda get the hint? Lol but i would love to ask one of my exes what i did to turn them off? Cause i mean i am pretty good friends with all of them. And that is another thing is i am not a relationship person unless i can really trust the guy and really like him? Hmmmmmm ...... Hey blogger fam!
I havent updated since like last week so here i am . Anyway i have been working like a slave 9 to 5 [or for me 10 to 4 lol] doing insurance and. Billling stuff at my dads office= Me HELLA bored! I mean i am not complaining cause all my friends are around here looking for jobs so i consider myself lucky! But i guess since i have just seen my dads office as a just in case job? Like that it would be there whenever i wanted to work , but now i want somethin fun ! I put my application into papaya which a cute lil clothing store 2 days ago so hpoefully i will get an interview! Pray for me !! lol

So i am tryna get my posts up to 100 so i will start bloggin more during the day through my phone. Anyway i am sitting at the beauty shop waiting to get my hair done and i get the sme tried and true style all of the time? It never fails i always get my hair flatironed with rollers on the top and it always looks amazing!! But since i went to school i have always wanted to do other things with my hair but now that i am at home for the summer my parents are more the traditional we like your hair the way it is no nothing?! So i was thinkin about getting a black rinse which would make my hair look shiner and healthier, it is already dark but i want that jet black look?? I am just scared it will look dark , but it probably wont so i will be ok !! And i want to get just plain sprial curls but i dont know how they r gonna hold up in this humid weather? Anyway responses please!?

Work status......... Ok so it is 9:45 and i am sitting at my desk witha huge stack on papers to file or to shread. Even thouhg its sounds boring i am happy to be shuffling papers for a check!! I mean it is at my dads office which i used to say was a boring place to work ? I no a lot of my friends r tryna get jobs anywhere?! And i am debating whether to pick up another job at night from like 5 to close somewhere or just take my class and work here from 9to 4?? What do u guys think?? Deciisions , decisions!! I am soo excited i finished my last final today i am done with school! i really wanted to pack a lot of stuff today but it is about to rain so i guess i will get up tomorrow morning and do it:( boooooooo i mean Shreveport is not fun but i am so excited just to hang out with friends all summer, we will make stuff to do I was thinking i cant believe a year of college has gone by already geezzzz. So we are back at school from spring break and there are 3 more Weeks until school is over!!! It's crunch time!!
i am both happy and sad , because that means no more homework and projects etc.... but that also means i have to pack all my stuff from my room and head back home for 3 months!!
anyway i have to keep my mind focused that means no partying , i have to study and start studying for finals.... so basically i will be MIA for the next 3 weeks ( shut in my room or the library with books and papers )
should be tons of fun ... not!!! but it will be worth it when these next couple of weeks are OVER!!!
O ....2 more days until the conference in Vegas i am SO excited it is another much needed break but that means i will have to get my work done ahead of time! lol

Hey guys i am finally using the blogger mobile thing, so i can blog anywhere now! Well i am at work on my lunch break with 5 more hours to go geez when i write that it sounds so long!!!! But anyway i am going to just shuffle papers and act like i am workin until 5 i guess? Still spring break and i am enjoyin the relaxin and spending time at home but i guess i will start posting pica of my makeup cause i am kinda a slacker on makeup in general? Okay so this morning at 8 o clock when i woke up for class it was 65 degrees and raining cats and dogs! so I take it upon myself to have a self appointed rain day and not go to class ...... when suddenly the school's "purple alert" sent me 5 text messages and a blaring warning through loudspeaker to take shelter immediatley ..... wonderful for me lol okay so now it is 12:44 and it is sunshine and not a cloud in sight? I seriusly hate our weather luckily my 11 o clock class got cancelled too ! So i have been in bed all day like a bum listneing to pandora...... (side note I LOVEEEEE Letoya New\Slighty Old song Not Anymore??!! It totally fits how I am feeling rite now to a tea!)

ok so i have been saying i need a break for a while now and it hits me ! I finally get one!
next week Monday through Wednesday i get to go to Nashville for a conference which means i get to go home on Friday and relax until I fly out!!
Even though the conference will be work, it is chance for me to relax........... Even though this week i haven't been as busy as normal but it is still isn't a normal day for most students. The weird thing is our spring break isnt until APRIL 12-18 which is SUCH a long way away. I mean everyone elses spring break is close. like this week and next week , but NOOOOO not ours!!!!

Good morning it is finally Friday and I am sooo excited cause the weekend is here . This week hasn't been that horrible but i am just excited to relax and have fun this weekend.
So i started this post this morning but It is now Friday night a t 8:09 and what i am doing? Sitting in the bed watching reruns on TV One !!
there is a martini night every Friday but , for some reason I an just not the mood to go out ? I guess cause being college freshman my and my friends used to go to EVERY party last semester and we kinda got burnt out? so now I am just appreciating staying in and chilling cause the parties here in Nat have been EXACTLY the same!!
Also this week has cause me to think a bout a lot of things in my life , especially with my friends and family good and bad!

Mardi gras recap!!

Hey guys I finally am writing a blog about last week , we got out for 5 days from Saturday to Wednesday for Mardi Gras soooo my friends and I decided to road trip to New Orleans! Which my friend Sharan is from so it we stayed with her. It was my first time on Bourbon Street which really was just a bunch of bars and places on a really long street. so we went out every night except [Tuesday which was the Actual day of mardi gras] which ended up being fun because we hung out with some of Sharan's friend who were from New Orleans and just chilled at her house. SO on Wednesday on the way back home we ended up taking a wrong turn and instead of 4 hours it ended being 6 hours!!!! and by the time we got home 4 girls and 5 days together was enough! everyone had got of EVERYONE'S nerves but it was still fun . We saw a lot of ppl from school which was surprising cause there were so many ppl down there?
But I am still kinda tripping about my "friend" okay so we have been talking for 5 months now and he tells my friends boyfriend that he really likes me and stuff it is just he doesn't show me that he feels that way like he isn't a quiet guy it is just around me , he is really weird a bout showing his feelings??
I thought after 5 months we would be closer than this ? but o well we will see!
Any way I probably have another busy week so I will try to blog later

Friday excitement!

It is Friday morning at 9 :18 and I am sitting at the radio station wondering why I am up so early? and I am bored so I decided to let all of my energy in this post

But anyway i am sooo excited cause tommorrow at 10:00 A.M. I leave for New Orleans for Mardi Gras break 5 wonderful days, and it is with my 4 favorite girls!

It is only 4 hours (plus traffic :( so it will be fun . I haven't been on a road trip yet since I got to college so it will be fun to go on no- parents trip with my girls for the first time. And I haven't been to N.O. since I was like 10 with my mom ? It is a Much needed break my week has been ridiculous!!I didn't go out at all this week so i could studying for my tests and finally it is Friday time to relax.

I will be gone until Wednesday so I will post pics when I get back!

This will just be a ramble of all my thoughts from this weekend.................my weekend started off pretty good Friday I went out to a martini night which is like a open mic night/poetry sort of thing. And it was packed of course but it was chill so that is OK! Then of curse Saturday was Valentines day and I helped tierra with her gift for her bf a scavenger hunt.. so all day i was running around putting clues and stuff around campus. So that whole day i was thinking whether or not (lets call him CT) was gonna do anything at all for me and it turns out HE DIDNT! so of curse i was HOT ! I had made up my mind I wasnt gonna talk to him anymore and it was the last straw yadda yadda .

So Sat night me and the twins and sharan went to The re- grand opening of Illuminations(?) which was a HOT MESS ! Then Sunday I woke up too late to go to church so I did homework , then chilled for the rest of the day!

This weekend I am going to New Orleans for Mardi Gras!! Cant wait it will be funn!!

But I don't think I should get that feeling when I think about my current "friend" actually doing something special for me for Valentines day ......or should I. I know I told myself that I wouldn't gets my hopes up for something cutesy or special when i know he probably isn't thinking that it is exciting day at all? What a weekend!!

So i figured i would start my week off with a post..............and what a weekend it has been ! I needed a break from college so i went home this weekend (cause I surprisingly missed my fam ) and my hometown is only 45 mins away so it wasn't like it was a long trip.Friday i my hair done and chilled at home with my Lil brothers (who are a mess!)Saturday I went to the Black history parade downtown( which was fun besides the creepy old men , crazed horses and wannabe YouTube stars) with My FAVE TWIN Jess and a friend Delisha - on the side note that went better than I expected since we weren't really "friends"? we were kind of associates? and we had met a couple times before and had been getting closer? but anyway of course we went everywhere after that - the mall ,boardwalk and visiting ppl.That night was the Miss NSU pageant i drove down to Nat with Mommy (like old times!) and it was decent? Then Sunday of course was church and finally going back to Nat ! Once i goto back it was unpackini and of course hanging out with my fav friend :). Then attempting to study while i DIDNT WATCH and Grammys and read bloggers and articles abotu Chris Brown Being a abuser? NEVER would have known ...hmmmmmmm
In a whole it was a nice little break and much needed cause my day today is completely full until 4 then I have a hour break until my 5 to 8 class!!!

Anyway my life has been kind of boring, like i just have been going to class and hanging out with friends? Kinda boring but it is good because i get to concentrate on keeping my grades up!
Today I actually went to our school's basketball game and we won and then came back and did homework so that was a ok day.
And tomorrow I am going to church with the twins so it will be a good way to end the weekend and start off my week!

For some reason I have been listening to Beyonce's Halo on repeat? All day yesterday and this morning as i write. I guess i have been in a slow jam kind of mood recently. Every day i keep saying today will be a good day and I think lately i have been having good days i.e. not that much stress and i am not as tired ! My one issue is I have to still stop worrying about the little things and go with the flow more?
Anyway a little rambling time,
Yesterday was SO cold which was weird b\c here in Louisiana , Sunday and Monday it was 75 degrees and beautiful then all of a sudden a cold front came........ geez
But I only have two classes today English and a Presidential leadership class so it shouldn't be THAT bad.

Stress free Semester?- RAMBLE!

Ok so I am in my 2nd week of the spring semester at school and things are going surprisingly well! My classes are going okay like they haven't got that hard yet and there isn't that much homework.........yet? So i ask myself what has been on my mind since i got back? OF course the relationships in my life! One of my new years resolutions was to have more fun and strengthen the relationships that were already in my life. So when i got back from winter break my close friend (lets call her C) and I seemed to have grown apart and at first I thought it was just me ? But now as everyday goes on our bond seems to grow a little apart , Her comments she makes seems to get on my nerves just a bit and she is as a policy that if you don't contact her first you wont hear from her at all? Okay so i hope that this is just a simple obstacle in our friendship but it kind of hurts to have one of my closest friends that i had so much in common with at the beginning of the year , just kind of grow from me? Anyway another relationship that is kind of sticky on my part is one with a guy. First of all i guess u could call us friends? We have been "talking" since September and when I first met him I really believed and still do that he is a really great guy and a whole lot different than the guys here at school. The only thing that i been thinking about a lot is our relationship as it stands now? IT kind confuses me cause first thing is that I have never been t the type of girl to chase after guys and with him I guess i feel like i am but in reality it is i just give in and call r text him cause i get tired of waiting on him to do it? Like you know how you have your your friends who say " yeah my guy calls me when I wake up and the afternoon and at night?" And I am thinking wow I want "my guy" to do that for me!? butin a relationship and i told myself that i would not get in a relationship in college! but I guess i just want some kind of exclusive kind of nature with the guy? A few of his friends have already said that he is not talking to anybody else at all !!(Which not to be conceited but I think he is probably not!!) but i don't know i still think I need to bring it up ASAP just for me so I can breathe a little easier?!But i know that he a really sweet guy and my insecurities are probably just getting the best of me !

Back at School Ramble!

Hi guys I am finally back at school which I hope will be a wonderful semester! Yesterday was a amazing first day back and right now I am at the radio station working . Basically which is a mixture of listening to huge bins of new music and doing menial tasks? But nerveless it is scholarship! but anyway i think my goals for this semester are to of course stay focused ! but also to have more fun with little things and actually enjoy the college experience more? Last semester I was so wrapped up in school and stressing about the little things that it was like I did get the full enjoyment of my first semester?

Also have a new roomie who is hella cool so that will be fun! And I actually am looking forward to starting work in my classes so that will be fun . Let see of course there are parties which will be fun but I am going to cut back on those( so I can save money). And Hopefully there wont be any drama , so i can enjoy my friends(both girls and guys )!

Hi guys so the new year is now upon us and I just wanted to reflect over 2008.
I think my life in a whole doesn't have that much drama? My personality is one of a peacemaker and I was very quiet until recently : my senior year and summer of 08 . So in that sense I have never been a person to start a bunch of drama! And as a result of that I have gotten nor ran over by people but just overlooked as not wanting to speak my opinion? But I think in this new year I will :
1. Try to stand up more in what i know is right and what I feel passionate about.
2. Get my body not only physically in shape by eating healthier and working out more but also my mind more spiritually in tune and become closer to God
3. Not Sweat and small things and not care so much what other people think of me!
4. Have better relationships in general :i.e. friends, family , and guys
5. Work my hardest in school :No matter what!!

Hi guys,
I have been at home and relaxing like a lazy bum lol ! So i decided to go ahead and post a blog.

My Christmas was actually better than I thought it would be! I got gift cards and a new camera (which i love ........... so now i can post pictures) My family of course opened gifts at our house then went to my grandma's house in Many( which is a very small town in Louisiana :( But it was actually really fun even though it was just my family my aunt and grandmother it brought us closer ..... whether we wanted to or not! Then on my way home my brothers and I decided to go to see The Spirit which was actually quite okay!

So today I finally went out and fought the crowd and went shopping , I got some clothes from Rue 21 which wasn't my first pick for clothes but they actually had a few good things! The highlight of my shopping trip was i found a pair of flat leather black riding boots for $38 ! A pretty good deal!

Anyway I am going to relax tonight and probably go out tomorrow for a girls night! Which will be wonderful b/c I haven't seen my bestie in a while!

Hella Boring Monday

So basically my day has consisted of me doing absolutely nothing! I am at school still because my last final isn't until Wednesday! So i got up this morning (technically afternoon it was 12 o clock) and went to sell my books back and got back in the bed. and basically the rest of the day i lounged around: i.e. Wrote some things i wanted for Christmas, and slept. And since all of my girl friends left today I just got back from making a random trip to sonic for a yummy java chiller!
Anyway maybe tomorrow will be a little bit more interesting , I know I need to start packing and what not. Blah

Hair and Makeup

Happy Sunday Everyone!
I finally have a chance to post a blog.
My main reason for starting this blog is that I love fashion and makeup but I like to see different tips and suggestion s for hairstyles and clothes styling. My hair is relaxed and about to the bottom of my neck with layers that i am trying to grow out. I go to the salon every week and get a wash and flat iron but I want to do some easy styles during the week (Really simple because I work out and my hair is normally a mess afterward!!!!) Also I don't like to put a lot of heat in my hair , actually I don't have a flat iron, only hot rollers but I only use them for special occasions Anyway if anyone has any suggestion any easy hairstyles that I can do that would be awesome!!
Ummm As far as makeup goes I keep it simple. I have been using Mary Kay Cosmetics and their foundation and works wonders for me!! I plan on getting in to using more eyeshadow like different colors and such.
